At a time when pre-monsoon activity is intensifying and moist winds are blowing, heavy rains are likely over Gujarat between June 7 and 11.
Two cyclones are developing, one each in Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea which will bring heavy rains in the state in the second week of June.

The monsoon will set in Gujarat after the pre-monsoon heavy rains. Most parts will be covered under the South West monsoon by June end.
