Emmy Award-winning actress author and meditation teacher Lindsay Wagner, well known for her starring television role as “The Bionic Woman,” will speak at a workshop on Personal Perspective.

Explore higher levels of consciousness and personal enlightenment at the Mind Body Spirit Healing Expo: A Weekend Of Inspiration, at the Monroeville Convention Center on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

The jam-packed lineup includes 120 vendors offering two days of workshops, demonstrations and lectures on nutrition, reflexology, vibrational healing, animal communication, astrology, psychic readings, Reiki, paranormal, aura imagery, Bigfoot, UFOs and more, says Kelly Simon, expo producer.

“We already booked this expo for next year,” Simon says. “This expo is for a person looking to be physically and mentally healthier.

Attendees are invited to walk two different labyrinth paths that serve as a metaphor for one's journey, explore a Zen Meditation Garden and 17 foot Healing Pyramid made of copper and crystal.

Experience the copper and crystal Merkaba Chamber (divine light vehicle to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms) that includes a 25-minute meditation experience.

More than 40 lectures and workshops are scheduled (some at an additional cost).

Emmy Award-winning actress author and meditation teacher Lindsay Wagner, well known for her starring television role as “The Bionic Woman,” will speak at a workshop on Personal Perspective from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sept. 30 in Gallery 1. Lecture tickets are $25, and meet and greet tickets with Wagner are $50.

While still working as an actress today — she recently finished filming a movie in South Africa, a Biblical epic titled, “Samson,” scheduled for release in early 2018 — Wagner devotes much of her time to her meditation and holistic workshops, seminars and retreats.

She will present a workshop at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 1 titled, “Personal Perspective = Experience.”

“Holistic medicine has always been my passion,” she says. “By the time I came to acting, I continued to study it and found I had the capacity to help others understand it.”

She says she first learned about the holistic approach to health on her personal self-healing journey through an illness she had at age 19, when “doctors were looking at surgery” and a friend introduced her to the alternative methods.

She has traveled extensively conducting her “Quiet the Mind and Open the Heart” workshops and retreats throughout the U.S., Great Britain, Europe and Canada.

In her Expo workshop, she says she will talk about the concept that “our experience of any life circumstance is a result of our personal perspective more than the circumstance itself.” Through their own powerful realization, people can experience enhanced relationships and feel more love and compassion in their lives.

Kathy Duffy, founder and director of the Energy Connection Creative Healing and Learning Center in North Huntingdon, says this is the largest expo of its kind in Pittsburgh.

“I think people are looking for different directions or discovery to assist healing in many areas — our area is spirit healing,” Duffy says.

Duffy will present several workshops on Reiki, along with her colleague Janet Jackson. Both ladies are full-time Reiki certified advanced practitioners/ teachers at Energy Connection.

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) means spiritually guided life energy, or universal life energy, an energy which resides in us all she says.

“We are looking forward to introducing Reiki as an accessible and natural therapy to more people,” Duffy says.

Raised in Greensburg, Duffy opened Energy Connection in 1998 — she took her first healing based class at age 19 and is excited to participate as a major expo sponsor.

Their free lecture at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 30 in the Energy Connection room will explore what Reiki encompasses, for oneself, animals and others.

Renowned spiritual teacher and medium James Van Praagh headlines the expo, presenting an evening of connections with spirits on the main stage from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 30.

Tickets for his show range from $45 to $100.

Van Praagh claims to act as a conduit — channeling messages, guidance and encouragement to some audience members from loved ones in the spirit world.

“During my live events, I am the instrument for the Spirit world,” he says in the expo news release. “The guides work through me, their energy depends on the energy that guests bring with them. This energy assists your loved ones in transmitting thoughts, memories, love and evidential details that you will recognize — proving that their love for you never dies.”

Other workshop topics include How to Expand Your Psychic Awareness, Introduction to Essential Oils, Using Stones to Clear and Shift Negative E-Motions, Messages from the Other Side — Connecting with Spirit, Ways to Protect and Ground Your Energy, and Aromatherapy for Wellness.
